Your Career after Completion of the Course

Once you have completed the PG Diploma in Real Estate Management course, the career possibilities are limitless. Some students have a clear idea of their goals and what they would like to achieve when they begin the programme, while others develop their interests and objectives as they progress through the course. One of the key outcomes you’ll be looking for is the employment opportunity that will be available on graduation. Let us look at the results of ‘Manpower Employment Outlook Survey, 3rd Quarter, 2007’ conducted by Manpower India, which is a world’s leading recruitment and career development firm.

Manpower India
With more than 500 consultants in 24 offices across 12 cities, Manpower India is one of the largest recruitment firms in India, and the undisputed market leader in services sector.

Summary of the results of sector comparison
For the ninth consecutive quarter, employers across all seven industry sectors in India report positive hiring intentions. The strongest Outlook is observed among employers in the Services industry sector [+46%] while the weakest is seen among employers in the Public Administration & Education industry sector [+27%]. This industry sector similarly reports the largest decline in hiring intentions quarter-over-quarter [6 percentage points]. The hiring intentions of employers in all but two industry sectors reveal quarter-over-quarter increases in Net Employment Outlook with the Finance, Insurance & Real Estate and the Services industry sectors both reporting the strongest increase [13 percentage points].

Similarly, the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industries, FICCI mentions in one of its reports on Indian Real Estate Sector, “The size of the real estate industry in India is estimated by FICCI, to be around US$ 12 billion. This figure is growing at a pace of 30% for the last few years.

Considering the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey for third quarter of 2007 and FICCI report on fast growth of Indian real estate, as given above, and the association of top professionals of Indian real estate industry with IDS-NIREM, we are thinking a step ahead of simply assisting students in placements. We are thinking of negotiating with real estate development, marketing and investment companies for far better job profile and much higher pay package for our students, considering the innovative real estate management course done and unique realty business skills acquired by our students.
